01JUL2015 San Miguel, Balangiga Eastern Samar. Minutes after the soft handover at Cansumangkay Elementary School, the DSWD/ADB/JFPR team proceeded to San Miguel Elementary School, this same municipality to also turn over the 2-classroom and 1-faculty room building, ready for their use.
In his acceptance message, San Miguel Elementary School Principal Arniel Lucero told BSPMC Chair Mrs. Reymunda Amegable that these classrooms will indeed contribute to ensuring that their students receive quality education.
Immediately after the flag raising and the brief handover ceremonies, Grades 5 and 6 pupils piled-in to signal the official start of attending their classes in the new classrooms.
